About Our Musicians
To give you an idea of the talented musicians we represent, here is are some of our musicians' credits.

Franni Burke has accompanied Bette Midler and Tony Bennett.  She started as a protege of Joe Cribari and Derek Smith and her first job in NYC was working at Gregory's as the warm up act for Lee Konitz and Sammy Davis, Jr. She worked as the house pianist for the Waldorf Astoria and the Hilton for Irving Fields. She was also signed to Columbia Records as a singer and has performed in Chicago with Lucie Arnaz as a singer and percussionist.

Gregory Generet is a vocalist who has been performing in and around New York City, his hometown, for more than fifteen years. While singing various styles of music, Gregory has found that he had a special connection to jazz. He has performed with some of the finest musicians in Jazz today, including Mike Renzi and Onaje Allen Gumbs. Gregory has also worked with Lilias White and the legendary songwriting team Alan and Marilyn Bergman for a performance of a show written by the Bergmans with Cy Coleman and Larry Gelbart called “In the Pocket”. He has appeared in New York City and abroad, in such venues the Red Eye Grill, The Garage Jazz Club, both in Manhattan, Aux Deux Canard in Paris and 66 in Cortona, Italy. Other venues include the world renowned Birdland, “J’s” Uptown Jazz Club and the Firebird Restaurant.

The Harmony String Trio hail from Prague and have performed internationally with symphonies around the world.

Marva Hicks is a singer on the Broadway stage and a recording artist. Her eponymous CD with Polygram Records yielded her a Billboard top ten hit with NEVER BEEN IN LOVE BEFORE. She has traveled the world as a featured and backing vocalist for Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and James Ingram. She performed with the legendary Lena Horne on Broadway, and blues great Ruth Brown, and Allan Toussaint, Off-Broadway. As a gospel singer she is a member and featured vocalist with the Broadway Inspiration Voices on their Christmas CD, GREAT JOY.

Jay Leslie is a woodwind virtuoso who plays saxophone with the Tokens and Sha Na Na, not to mention teaching actors how to perform on their instruments in movies and television.

Joanne Mosca is a performer of great charisma, having done 3 one-woman shows in NYC to rave reviews.  She has written, sung and acted in what is basically a tour de force recital-
at Don't Tell Mama, 88s, Danny's Skylight Gardens and other venues around the city. Her shows were produced and arranged by famed composer and pianist Jeff Waxman.

Rob Paparozzi is a singer and harmonica player who is a member of the Blue Brothers and also has a blues group called Hudson River Rats, featuring Bernard Purdie on drums.

Chris Rosenberg plays guitar for Ornette Coleman.

Carla Savoy is a versatile smooth jazz stylist who has performed at Tatou, Laurabelle and The Roxy.  She also wrote and performed in Losers, a sitcom, and the cult classic "Foxwoods the musical."

Kathy Sommer is a pianist, arranger, composer and producer who commands the utmost respect from her peers.  Starting as a keyboardist for The Magic Show, she went on to play in Nine, Cats, Romance, Romance (conductor and dance arrangements), City of Angels (conductor), and currently, Beauty and the Beast (conductor).  Kathy also composed tunes for the Hilary Duff CD and Clifford the Big Red Dog. She and Franni co-wrote the theme for the AIDS Walk, called You Are Loved.  Kathy's dad, Ted Sommer, was Frank Sinatra's drummer, her mom Yole was a big band singer and her sister Terry Sommer is our Dance Party liaison, being a renowned swing dancer and former member of Chicago City Limits.

Wiltrud Weber is an internationally known classical singer, performing the repertoire in Germany, Israel and the United States.

Megan Weeder is the violinist for John Mellencamp.

Tom Werkhiser was a founding member, singer and arranger for Doo Wah Zoo, the renowned New York vocal group.

Diane Wright is a traditional pop singer whose mother was Agnes De Mille's accompanist. She has performed shows at Danny's Skylight Room for years and has been a back-up singer for other performers at Don't Tell Mama and the Triad Club, all in New York City. She has had many years of experience in the business side of music, as well, having worked for the management organizations that represented Dionne Warwick and the rock group Foreigner.
